Migrating a Two-Unit Ring Stack
A two-unit ICX 7450 ring stack is cabled to the CB, and the ICX 7450 stack must be converted to PEs.
- After the stack has been properly cabled to the CB, erase the startup configuration and reload the new units.
- Run the SPX interactive-setup utility on the CB to display the discovered topology.
- Once you confirm the topology with the selected PE IDs, the units reload and join the Campus Fabric domain.
- Once you confirm your selections, the new units reload and join the Campus Fabric
domain as PE units.
