Working with Unleashed APs and ICX Switches

management services for UnleashedThe Networks page of the remote management services web interface displays information about networks managed by remote management services for Unleashed. These networks include Unleashed APs and ICX switches managed by Unleashed.
- Viewing the Network ConfigurationYou can view the configuration details of the network managed by remote management services for Unleashed.
- Creating and Managing GroupsThe remote management services for Unleashed allows you to create and edit network groups, and to assign network to existing network groups. You can also create an empty group. Each device can be assigned to a single network group at a time and can be moved to a different network group at any time.
- Binding a NetworkYou can manually bind a WLAN using the Unleashed device ID.
- Editing the Network PropertiesYou can edit the tag name, location, and GPS coordinates associated with an Unleashed network..
- Editing a WLAN You can configure the WPA2passphrase of the WLAN associated with an Unleashed network to synchronize configuration between network networks.
- Editing AP DetailsYou can edit the AP details as necessary.
- Using QR Code for WLANsYou can quickly connect to the Wi-Fi network by using the QR code for the network instead of using the username and password. You can also print or download the code for easy access.
- Backing Up Network Configuration
FilesYou can create configuration backup files, for all the networks managed by the remote management services, to recover configuration settings in the event of a network failure. The backup files can be created for single or multiple networks.
- Restoring Network Configuration
FilesThe remote management services for Unleashed enables you to restore network settings easily from a backup file. You have the option to perform a full restore, a failover restore, or a policy-level restore to another network.
- Upgrading Network FirmwareYou can initiate the upgrade of Unleased networks from the remote management services web interface.
- Deleting Networks Managed by the
SoftwareIf you do not want remote management services to manage a network(s), you can delete the network. You can delete one or more networks at a time.
- Resetting the Network User Name or
PasswordYou can reset the web UI login username and password for Unleashed network from the web interface.
- Connecting to Unleashed CLIThe remote management services web interface allows you to connect to the CLI for a specific Unleashed network through a tunnel connection.
- Blocking Networks from the
SoftwareIf a network appears in remote management service and is either unauthorized or poses a threat to security, you can use the web interface to block the network. You can block one network at a time.
- Downloading the Unleashed Network System
LogFor debugging purposes, you can download the Unleashed System Log through remote management services directly. The log file is not local in the remote management services for Unleashed; it is obtained by remote management services sending a request to Unleashed for system logs. The connections to both Unleashed and SSH must be active.
