Managing User Accounts

RUCKUS Remote management services for Unleashed allows the creation of user accounts with role-based access control. This system manages user permissions by assigning specific roles to each user account. Each role comes with a distinct set of privileges, defining the user's functional access level within the system.

RUCKUS Remote management services for Unleashed supports the following roles:

  1. Brand Administrator: The Brand Admin can create, edit, and delete Domain groups and Domain Admins. This role is held by the RUCKUS team. After purchasing the license, the RUCKUS team will provide the details of the Domain Administrator. For more licensing information, please contact the RUCKUS team.
  2. Domain Administrator: The Domain Administrator is responsible for managing the Unleashed networks within the remote management services. Their functions include isolating system settings, assigning one device to one Domain group, creating sub-groups based on management logic, and managing Unleashed networks with customized settings within their Domain groups. One Domain group can have multiple admin users but one Domain admin can only manage one Domain group. Domain groups are totally separated from each other.
  3. Group Administrator: Group Administrators are created by Domain Administrators. They are responsible for managing the Unleashed networks assigned to them by the Domain Administrators.
  4. Site Administrator (End User): Site Administrators are also created by Domain Administrators. Site Administrators can only view the networks assigned to them and have limited access to features of the remote management service web interface. Each Unleashed network can only be assigned to one Site Admin; it cannot be assigned to multiple Site Admins.
