Unleashed Zero Touch Deployment

The Unleashed Zero Touch Deployment feature simplifies the deployment for an Unleashed network. The deployment is ready with some simple configurations on the remote management services and Unleashed network side when the power is on.

The main benefits of this feature:

  • Unleashed can be set to a designated version and configuration automatically after powering on.
  • Unleashed can be assigned to designated groups by joining remote management services for Unleashed automatically.
  • The 'Configure Template Name' and 'remote management services for Unleashed IP' settings can be pre-configured on the Unleashed network by manually using the Unleashed Setup Wizard or automatically by DHCP server option 43.
  • The remote management services server gets a pre-configured rule with the same 'Configure Template Name' and one Unleashed backup file attached.
  • Whenever an Unleashed network with set-factory status boots up, it sends a message with 'Configure Template Name' to the remote management services server according to the IP address inside the parameter of the remote management services for Unleashed IP. Once the remote management services server receives the message, it matches the rule with 'Configure Template Name' against its database and pushes the configuration file to Unleashed.
