Alarms and Notifications
Alarm serves as a mechanism to monitor the
status of the system associated with events that range from errors,
connection failures, exceptions and so on. Alarm configuration can
be enabled on predefined set of events. If any of the alarm-enabled
events occur in the system, an alarm is triggered. A threshold can
be set for AP license usage, hardware events, and AP events; and
when the usage breaches the defined threshold, an alarm is
triggered. You can also enable email notification or SNMP
notification to notify the user whenever an alarm is triggered.
