Configuring a New AV Profile from the AV Network Profiles Screen

Perform the following steps to configure a new AV profile from an AV profile template on the AV Network Profiles screen.
  1. Under the Profile Templates heading, select the icon in the widget for the AV template you want to use for configuration. Click the icon to start the guided tour of the interface elements available on the specific template you are working with. Advance through the wizard by clicking Next.
    If the desired template is not in the list, refer to Creating a New AV Profile Template from the AV Network Profile Screen.
    Note: The Profile Template, IGMP, and Querier Version settings are predefined and cannot be modified.
  2. In the Port Selection field, choose the ports to add to the new profile. In a stack configuration, ports can be selected from different stack units and configured accordingly.

    Note: By default, all ports are configured with the Data type profile. You can modify or edit the default profile as needed.
  3. In the Profile Name field, enter a name for the profile.
  4. In the Color field, select any available color to indicate which ports are part of this AV profile.
  5. In the Untagged VLAN field, enter the VLAN ID associated with the profile.

  6. (Optional) Click the Querier Election Enable checkbox to enable the querier election and enter the IP address in the Querier IP Address field.
  7. Select Enabled or Disabled from the Querier Fast-leave drop-down list. This option is enabled by default and is applicable to all AV profiles except Data profiles.
  8. (Optional) Enable DHCP relay by clicking the DHCP Relay checkbox and enter the IP addresses for the following fields:
    • VLAN IP
    • Netmask
    • DHCP Server IP
  9. Click Create Profile to create the new AV profile.
