`auth-method`

Specifies the authentication method to be used.

Syntax

auth-method 8021x | 8021xmac | mac | open

Command Default

No authentication method is specified.

Parameters

8021x: Specifies 802.1x EAP as the authentication method.
8021xmac: Specifies 802.1x EAP and the MAC address as the authentication method.
mac: Specifies the MAC address as the authentication method.
open: Specifies no authentication method.

Modes

WLAN Zone configuration mode

Authentication Profile REALM configuration mode

Identity Provider Account Profile REALM configuration mode

The following example creates a WLAN in zone Zone10, and sets the authentication method to be 8021x EAP.
