Port Level Configuration

Separately from the group level configuration, you can configure the switch ports with additional port-related settings as listed in the following list.
  • Port name
  • Administrative status
  • Tagged VLANs
  • Untagged VLAN
  • PoE settings
  • Apply ACLs
  • Port Speed
  • Limits for BUM traffic
  • Flexible authentication settings

You can access port level configuration options either from the Ports tab of the individual switch, or the Switches & Ports tab of the selected Switch Group. Refer to Port Settings.

  1. Selective QinQ
    Selective QinQ allows specific VLANs to be double-tagged with an outer VLAN, enabling precise traffic segregation, efficient VLAN management, and secure multi-tenant isolation across shared network infrastructure.
  2. Support of Breakout Ports on an ICX Switch
    A breakout port configuration allows you to increase the number of usable RUCKUS ICX switch ports without adding additional hardware. It does this by splitting a single high-bandwidth port into multiple lower-bandwidth ports, enabling the use of breakout cables to connect more devices.
