Read-write

Lists the monitoring status of each port.

The values in this object are space delimited. They consist of a sequence of a port’s ifIndex followed by the port’s monitoring mode. Port monitoring mode can be one of the following:

  • 0 - Monitoring is off.
  • 1 - The port will monitor input traffic.
  • 2 - The port will monitor output traffic.
  • 3 - The port will monitor both input and output traffic.

For example, you may see the following values:

65 2 66 1

“65” may represent port 2/1 and “66” port 2/2.

The entry means that port 2/1 is monitoring output traffic. Port 2/2 is monitoring input traffic.
