Ports Available for Breakout
The ports listed in ICX 7850 Ports Available for Breakout and ICX 7550 Ports Available for Breakout (with Recommended Cables and Optics) can serve as breakout ports if stacking is enabled for the ports. Note that the slot 2 uplink-40g/100g configuration is only applicable to specific ICX 7550 SKUs and not required for ICX 7850 models. Stacking ports are displayed in a three-tuple format (x/y/z) even when configured as breakout ports. For example, if port 1/2/1 is a breakout port, it appears in the general configuration or show command output in four-tuple format as 1/2/1:1; however, any output that shows the port as a stack-port configuration displays the port in three-tuple format as 1/2/1.
Ports available for breakout are shown for each supported model in the following tables. Refer to the RUCKUS ICX 7850 Switch Hardware Installation Guide and RUCKUS ICX 7550 Switch Hardware Installation Guide for information on installing breakout cables.

ICX 7550 Ports Available for Breakout (with Recommended Cables and Optics)
The RUCKUS ICX 7550-48F, ICX 7550-24F, ICX 7550-24ZP, and ICX 7550-48ZP models can operate in both 100-Gbps stacking and 100-Gbps uplink mode.
In the uplink-100-Gbps mode, the ICX 7550-48F and ICX 7550-48ZP models have eight 10-Gbps or eight 25-Gbps breakout ports available on 1/2/1 and 1/2/2.
In the uplink-100-Gbps mode, the ICX 7550-24F, ICX 7550-24XZP, and ICX 7550-24ZP models have four 10-Gbps or four 25-Gbps breakout ports available on 1/2/2 only.
Supported Speed in Module 3
In RUCKUS ICX 7550-24F, ICX7550-24XZP, and ICX 7550 24ZP models, the uplink-40-Gbps is supported only if 2x40-Gbps is present in module 3 or if the module 3 is empty. The uplink-40-Gbps is not supported if module 3 has 4x10-Gbps or 1x100-Gbps.
