Enabling NTP
To enable NTP, use the ntp command in global
configuration mode. This command enables the NTP client mode and server mode.
device(config)# ntp device(config-ntp)#
Use the no form of the command to disable NTP and remove the NTP configuration.
Note: The
no ntp command removes
all the NTP configuration configured statistically as well as learned associations
from NTP neighbors. Note: If NTP is enabled, to be in compliance with Common Criteria, NTP authentication
must also be configured as described in the following sections.
