Displaying Transparent Clock Information for PTP

After enabling PTP-TC, you can view the clock and the access control list (ACL) information.

You can view the following PTP clock information:

  • Clock type : Transparent (by default)
  • Clock ID : MAC address of the device
  • PTP enabled ports: The ports enabled globally or on specific interfaces.
  • Packet type : Ethernet (by default)
  • Transparent clock option : End-to-End (by default)
  • Primary domain : Zero (by default)
  • Step type : One-step (by default)

The show ptp-clock command displays the PTP transparent clock information.

The show access-list tcam acl-name FILTER_PTP_PKT command displays the ACL rule created for handling PTP packets.
