Creating an AP MAC OUI Address

Creates a custom MAC OUI to identify access points from specific vendors.
To create an AP MAC OUI Address, perform the following -
  1. From the main menu, navigate to Network > Wireless > AP Settings > AP MAC OUI Validation.
    This displays the AP MAC OUI Validation screen.
  2. In the AP MAC OUI Validation screen, toggle the Enable AP MAC OUI Validation button to ON and click Create.
    This displays the Create MAC OUI window.
  3. In the Create MAC OUI window, enter the following -
    • MAC OUI - Enter the first three bytes (OUI) of the AP MAC address.
    • Description - Enter a short description of the unique identifier for the AP vendor based on the MAC address.
