Adding an SD-LAN Service

You can add an SD-LAN service to manage how end-user traffic is tunneled in a Wi-Fi network that includes RUCKUS Edge devices.
To add an SD-LAN service, follow these steps.
Before beginning this procedure, a Tunnel Profile meeting the requirements of your AP-to-Cluster tunnel must already be configured. The Tunnel Profile must also have the Enable NAT-T Support option enabled. Refer to Creating a Tunnel Profile for creating a new tunnel profile.
  1. On the RUCKUS One navigation bar, hover over Network Control and click My Services or Service Catalog.
    This displays the My Services or Service Catalog menu, respectively.
  2. Click the Add button in the SD-LAN tile.
    This displays the Add SD-LAN Service page.
  3. In the Add SD-LAN Service page, configure the following:
    1. General: In this section, enter the following details:
      • Service Name: Enter a meaningful name for the SD-LAN service.
      • Tunnel Profile (AP to Cluster): Select the tunnel profile from the drop-down list that is to be used between the AP and the Data Center RUCKUS Edge.

    2. Click Next.
      The Wi-Fi Network Selection page is displayed.

    3. Click Select Networks for the respective venue.

      The venue-specific Select Networks sidebar is displayed.

    4. Toggle the Enable Tunnel option and select the Forward Destination option for the Active Network.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Next. The Summary page is displayed.
    7. Review the settings and click Add.
      The SD-LAN service is configured with an AP to Cluster tunnel profile and the service is applied to the selected Wi-Fi network.
