Configures the maximum number of entries allowed in the RMON control table.
Syntax
system-max rmon-entries value
no system-max rmon-entries value
Command Default

The default number of RMON entries allowed in the RMON control table is 1024.

Parameters
value
Specifies the maximum number of entries. The value can range from 128 to 32768.

Usage Guidelines

This command configures the maximum number of entries allowed in the RMON control table, including alarms, history, and events.

Note: In order for the change to take effect, you must save the change to the startup-config file and reload or reboot.

The no form of the command resets the maximum number of entries allowed in the RMON table to the default value.

Examples

The following example sets the maximum number of RMON entries to 3000.

device(config)# system-max rmon-entries 3000
device(config)# write memory
device(config)# exit
