Customizing the URL

This section describes how to import an SSL or security certificate to RMS.

If the Brand Admin chooses to use their own server address, they must import an SSL certificate issued by a recognized certificate authority.

Customizing the DNS Address

When you already have an SSL certificate, you can import it into Remote Management Service. To complete this procedure, you need the SSL certificate file and the key pair password.

  • Check the Enable custom access URL field to enable this feature.
  • In Server Certificate, drop the file in to the box provided or click the box to upload the certificate file.
  • In Intermediate CA Certificate, drop the file in to the box provided or click the box to upload the Intermediate CA certificate file.
  • In Private Key, drop the file in to the box provided or click the box to upload the private key.
  • Click Save.
A message appears, informing you that the certificate has been imported successfully.
