ipv6 router pim

Enables IPv6 PIM-Sparse mode for IPv6 routing globally or on a specified VRF.
Syntax
ipv6 router pim [ vrf vrf-name ]
no ipv6 router pim [ vrf vrf-name ]
Command Default

IPv6 PIM-Sparse mode is not enabled.

Parameters
vrf vrf-name
Specifies a VRF instance.
Modes

Global configuration mode

VRF configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

The no form of this command removes the IPv6 PIM-Sparse mode configuration.

Examples

The following example enables IPv6 PIM-Sparse mode on a VRF named blue.
