`cluster-id`

Configures a cluster ID for the route reflector.

Syntax

cluster-id{num|ip-addr}

no cluster-id{num|ip-addr}

Command Default

The default cluster ID is the device ID.

Usage Guidelines

When configuring multiple route reflectors in a cluster, use the same cluster ID to avoid loops within the cluster.

Note: The cluster ID is shared for all VRF instances.

The no form of the command restores the default.

Examples

The following example configures a cluster ID for the route reflector.
