Supported ICX Models
This is a
shared topic reused across multiple customer-facing FastIron and SmartZone
publications. Please respect the contents and do not make changes to versions,
feature names, model names, or any other substantive text unless the changes
have been reviewed by at least one subject matter expert, preferably the product
PM. Please notify the SmartZone and FastIron writing team of any approved
changes.
The following ICX switch models can be managed from
SmartZone:

The following table defines ICX and SmartZone release compatibility.
Note: ICX
switches must be running FastIron 08.0.80a at a minimum to connect to
SmartZone.
An ICX switch running unsupported firmware can still connect to the SmartZone controller. After the switch is connected, you must upgrade it to a firmware version that is compatible with the SmartZone controller version.
Note: FastIron 09.0.10a and later
releases support management by SmartZone 6.1 and later.
Apply conditions as needed to remove data for unreleased
versions. Rows at the end of the table can be conditioned out without format
issues. Confirm the output looks correct, however, if conditions have been
applied.
Note: ICX switches with FIPS mode
enabled do not support management by SmartZone.
