Checking RUCKUS One Connection Status

ICX switches have an LED that indicates when the device is managed from RUCKUS One. The following table interprets the LED status. Refer to the FastIron hardware installation guide for the specific ICX device for more information.

RUCKUS One LED Status

Attempting to connect (Connecting) Slow flash green (one flash every two seconds)
Disconnected Off
Receiving configuration from cloud Fast flashing green (two flashes every seconds)

The show manager status command indicates when an ICX switch is managed from RUCKUS One. The Operation Status: Enabled field indicates that the ICX switch is connected to RUCKUS One, and the State: NATS CONNECTED field indicates the ICX switch is being managed from RUCKUS One.

When the ICX switch is disconnected from RUCKUS One and managed locally, the Operation Status: Disabled, State: Disabled, and Previous State: NATS CONNECTED fields are displayed.

When "Manager mode: ACX" is displayed, the ICX device is managed by RUCKUS One. If "Manager mode: SZ" is displayed, the ICX device is managed by a SmartZone server.

The following example displays information about a connection to RUCKUS One.

Checking Service Validation Test Result Upload Status

Enter the show manager service-validation status command in Privileged EXEC mode to verify the upload status of service validation test results (telemetry) sent from the ICX switch to RUCKUS One.

The command displays the most recent and previous successful and failed service validation test result upload, along with the timestamp and HTTP status code returned by RUCKUS One. This information can be used to confirm whether service validation results were successfully transmitted or to troubleshoot streaming failures.

Note: The timestamps displayed in the command output are based on the time zone configured on the switch.
