Deleting a Comment from an ACL Entry

A comment can be deleted only when the filter statement following it is also removed.
In some cases, this may mean you must re-enter the filter statement after removing
the comment.
To remove a comment and the filter statement it describes, use the
no remark command in front of the comment, and
no permit or
no deny in front of the related filter statement that follows the comment line as shown in
the following example.
device(config)# ip access-list extended acl100 device(config-ext-ipacl-ac1100)# no remark The following line permits TCP packets device(config-ext-ipacl-acl100)# no permit tcp 192.168.4.40/24 2.2.2.2/24
