Switch Groups
Similar to AP Groups, Switch Groups offer a granular configuration scheme for groups of switches that share similar environments, purposes, locations, and other characteristics. Using Switch Groups, administrators can segment the switch inventory based on configuration, firmware version, and other criteria. Switches do not support Switch Zones. If additional sub-grouping is required, SmartZone provides one additional level of grouping, also called a Switch Group.
