Dynamic PSK

Dynamic PSKs (DPSKs) are unique PSKs per user or device. You can create or import new DPSKs or view the existing DPSKs on the system.

In this section:

  1. Generating Dynamic PSKs
The process of creating unique passphrases for individual users or devices to securely access a WLAN. These keys are generated by SmartZone and can be associated with specific policies such as VLAN assignment, access roles, and usage limits, providing enhanced security and control compared to a shared PSK.
  2. Importing Dynamic PSKs
Import CSV files to create DPSKs for securing the Wi-Fi network.
  3. Viewing Dynamic PSKs
You can view the DPSKs that have been generated on the controller.
  4. Dynamic PSK3
Dynamic PSK3 (DPSK3) provides WPA2/WPA3 transition-based dynamic credentials, enabling secure access using WPA3-SAE while allowing onboarding and connectivity for legacy WPA2 clients.
