Checking the LSDB Overflow State for OSPFv3

The period of time that needs to pass before a router checks the link state database (LSDB) overflow state can be configured. The following example configures the router to check the LSDB overflow state every 1500 seconds for OSPFv3.

The maximum time period that can be configured is 86400 seconds.

  1. Enter global configuration mode.
    device# configure terminal
  2. Enter OSPFv3 router configuration mode.
    device(config)# ipv6 router ospf
    
  3. Configure the LSDB overflow state check.
    device(config-ospf6-router)# lsdb-overload-interval 1500

The following example configures the router to check the LSDB overflow state every 1800 seconds.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ipv6 router ospf
device(config-ospf6-router)# lsdb-overload-interval 1500
