`set dns server`

Configures or deletes the Domain Name System (DNS) server on RUCKUS Edge.

Syntax

set dns server [del] ipv4-address

Command Default

The DNS server is not configured.

Parameters

del: Deletes the specified DNS server from the list of configured servers.
ipv4-address: Specifies the IPv4 address of the DNS server you want to add or delete.

Network configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

This command is supported only on RUCKUS Edge.

Examples

The following example configures the IP address of the DNS server.

Network# set dns server 192.95.1.1

This example deletes the IP address of the DNS server.

Network# set dns server del 192.95.1.1
