Checking the LSDB Overflow State

The period of time that needs to pass before a router checks the link state database (LSDB) overflow state can be configured. The following example configures the router to check the LSDB overflow state every 1200 seconds for OSPFv2.

The maximum time period that can be configured is 86400 seconds.

  1. Enter global configuration mode.
    device# configure terminal
  2. Enter OSPF router configuration mode.
    device(config)# router ospf
    
  3. Configure the LSDB overflow state check.
    device(config-ospf-router)# lsdb-overload-interval 1200

The following example configures the router to check the LSDB overflow state every 1500 seconds.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# router ospf
device(config-ospf-router)# lsdb-overload-interval 1500
