Subscription Periods for RUCKUS End Customers

The customer can purchase subscriptions for a time interval to use the RUCKUS One. During the subscription period, the network devices and services remain operational. At the end of the subscription period, the customer must renew the subscription to continue to avail the services and remain a valued customer. The customer is notified of upcoming subscription expiration and presented with multiple opportunities to renew the subscriptions.

Courtesy Period

The courtesy period is 60 days for all device and service subscriptions. During the courtesy period, devices and services remain operational, configurable, and continue to function. Subscription renewals are applicable during the courtesy period. The courtesy period has a one-time extension option triggered by sales or other back-end processes.

RUCKUS One retains the device configuration for 90 days after the end of the courtesy period. If the customer renews the subscription within 90 days, the configuration and original tenant or venue information is retained. During and at the end of the courtesy period, the customer is presented with options to handle the lapse in subscription. The customer is also presented with the ability to resubscribe, remove devices or services that are no longer required, or gracefully exit the subscription. In addition, there will be a default method for removal of data and services in view of the lapsed customer subscription or the time frame exceeding the end of the courtesy period.

The RUCKUS One Professional tier offers a 15-day grace period to continue the Professional tier’s 12-month AI data retention benefit, allowing users to upgrade or renew their Professional license in case it gets downgraded to an Essential license. This ensures the continuity of the 12-month AI data validity for Professional tier customers, which is essential for reporting and analytics purposes.
