Analytics data retention refers to the
policies and practices for storing and managing data collected from network devices
and
systems over a period of time. This data can include logs, performance metrics, and
other
relevant information used for monitoring, troubleshooting, and analyzing network
performance.
The following retention criteria apply to
searchable data and queryable data across different licensing tiers. The following
table
lists the retention scope for different capabilities. The terms used in the table
are
defined as follows:
- Search Window: Refers to
the maximum period users can select in the date picker to search for historical
data.
- Query Window: Refers to
the maximum period for which data can be retrieved and analyzed in a single
query.
- Data Availability: Refers
to the total duration for which data is stored and accessible within the
system.
Analytics data retention for Professional tier licenses is available for up to 12
months.

discrepancy can lead to inconsistencies when navigating between

days, it will be reset to the default range upon leaving the
Timeline page.
