The example displays information for a three-unit stack configured in a ring. Three different ICX 7150 models are stacked together. Stack unit 1 is the active controller, and unit 2 is the standby controller. Units 1 and 3 are connected by a trunk through ports 1/3/3 and 3/3/3. Units 1 and 2 are connected by a link through ports 1/3/1 and 2/3/1. The MAC address, stack priority, and state of each unit are also listed.
  2. Enter the show stack detail command for more detailed information on the stack.
    ICX7150-24 Router# show stack detail

The example adds information on stack port status for each unit, identifies the connecting ports and neighbors, and indicates up time for each unit. It also indicates that Image Auto-Copy, used to update stack system software, is enabled.

The example shows stack connections for a similar stack, including port details for the trunk connections. This stack includes a second trunk between units 1 and 2 (as opposed to a single link in the previous show stack detail output) that forms the ring topology.
  4. Enter the show running-config command to display the active configuration of the stack.

The example shows the running configuration for a similar three-unit stack; however, this stack has no trunk configured on unit 2. Stacking and hitless-failover are enabled. Stacking trunks and ports for each unit are displayed. The modules installed in each unit are also displayed.
