Displaying Information on Supported Distances
Use the show media command to display
information on stacking connections and supported distances. You can specify any interface
within a stack configuration as shown in the following examples. You can also designate
a
stack to display all media attached to the stack. Without parameters, the show media command displays all
media attached to the device.
The following example displays information for an interface with an LR4 optic.
device# show media ethernet 1/2/2
Port 1/2/2: Type : 100GBASE-LR4 2km (QSFP28)
Vendor: RUCKUS Version: A
Part# : 57-1000329-01 Serial#: ZMK115250000015
The following example displays information for an interface with an SR4 optic.
device# show media ethernet 1/2/1
Port 1/2/1: Type : 100GBASE-SR4 100m (QSFP28)
Vendor: RUCKUS Version: A
Part# : 57-1000326-01 Serial#: YTF217200000SPU
The following example displays information for an interface with a 40-Gbps active copper optic with a maximum distance of 10 meters.
device# show media ethernet 3/2/1
Port 3/2/1: Type : 40GE-Active Copper 10m (QSFP+)
Vendor: RUCKUS Version: A
