Viewing Bandwidth Utilization of Switch Ports

Beginning with SmartZone 7.2.0, the Port Details table displays both percentage-based utilization and actual traffic values (kbps) for each switch port. These metrics support switch-port monitoring, bandwidth capacity planning, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
To view the bandwidth utilization of switch ports perform the following steps.
  1. On the menu, click Network > Wired > Switches to display the Switches window.
  2. In the System Domain, either select a switch group or an individual switch and then select the Ports tab, or select the Switches and Ports tab to view all switches and their ports in the domain.
  3. On the Port Details page, click the icon in the upper‑right corner.
    The Table Settings window opens.
  4. In the Table Settings window, select the checkboxes for the following columns:
    • Bandwidth IN (%)
    • Bandwidth OUT (%)
    • Bandwidth IN (kbps)
    • Bandwidth OUT (kbps)

  5. Click OK to apply the changes.
