Configuring Selective QinQ

This task enables the configuration of Selective QinQ mappings by associating specific CVLANs with an SVLAN on a given port.

Perform the following steps to configure Selective QinQ.

  1. From the main menu, select Network > Wired > Switches.
    The Switches window is displayed.
  2. Select a switch.
  3. Click the Ports tab in the Details area.
  4. In the Port Details section, select a port and click Selective QinQ.

    The Selective QinQ Port Number window is displayed. You will see three buttons - Create, Configure, and Delete - which allow you add a new Selective QinQ rule, modify an existing rule, and delete the selected rule, respectively.

  5. Click Create.

    Configure the following parameters.
    1. CVLAN: Enter the Customer VLAN ID in the textbox for which you want to apply QinQ.
    2. Untag: Select this checkbox if you want to include untagged traffic as part of the matching CVLANs.
      Note: The Untag VLAN in the port must be empty when configuring an untagged CVLAN.
    3. Enable New CVLAN: Click the Enable New CVLAN toggle button to enable (ON) to enter a new CVLAN.
    4. New CVLAN: Enter a new inner VLAN (CVLAN) that does not already exist in the configuration.
    5. SVLAN: Select the Service VLAN (outer VLAN tag) from the drop-down list to be applied when traffic with matching CVLANs is received.
  6. Click OK to apply the configuration.
  7. Click Close to close the window.
    You have successfully created a Selective QinQ rule.
