`start dhcp client`

Starts the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) client on a network interface.

Syntax

start dhcp client interface

Command Default

The DHCP client is not configured.

This command is supported only on RUCKUS Edge.

Examples

The following example starts the DHCP client on the interface, port1.

Network# start dhcp client port1
