schedule start

Configures a start time, or a schedule, for an IP Performance Metrics (IPPM) test for an IPPM profile.
Syntax
schedule start [ now ] mm-dd-yy hh:mm:ss { duration { value | infinite } | end mm-dd-yy hh:mm:ss } frequency value
no schedule start [ now ] mm-dd-yy hh:mm:ss { duration { value | infinite } | end mm-dd-yy hh:mm:ss } frequency value
Command Default

An IPPM test is not scheduled by default.

Parameters
now
Specifies that the test is started immediately.
mm-dd-yy
Specifies the start date for the test in month-day-year format.
hh:mm:ss
Specifies the start time for the test in hours:minutes:seconds format.
duration
Specifies the duration of the test.
value
Specifies the duration of the test in seconds. Valid values range from 0 through 2147483648 seconds.
infinite
Specifies that the test remains active with no scheduled end time.
end
Specifies the end date and time for the test.
frequency value
Specifies the interval between scheduled tests in seconds. Valid values range from 60 through 2147483648 seconds.

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command deactivates the IPPM profile.

Examples

The following example starts an IPPM test immediately for an IPPM profile named "test1", and specifies the date and time for the test to finish. It also specifies that the test will begin again after sixty seconds.
