rtt

Configures the minimum and maximum round-trip time (RTT) for validation purposes for an IP Performance Metrics (IPPM) profile.
Syntax
rtt { max | min } value
rtt range value to value
no rtt { max | min } value
no rtt range value to value
Command Default

The RTT is not configured by default.

Parameters
max value
Specifies the maximum RTT value in milliseconds. Valid values range from 1 through 200.
min value
Specifies the minimum RTT value in milliseconds. Valid values range from 1 through 200.
range value to value
Specifies a range for average RTT values in milliseconds. Valid values range from 1 through 200.

Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command removes the configured RTT from the profile.

Examples

The following example configures a range for average RTT values as 20 to 30 milliseconds for an IPPM profile named "test1".

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
device(config-icmp-echo-test1)# rtt range 20 to 30

The following example configures the maximum RTT value to 65 milliseconds. The minimum RTT value defaults to 1.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
device(config-icmp-echo-test1)# rtt max 65

The following example configures the minimum RTT value to 20 milliseconds. The maximum RTT value defaults to 200.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
device(config-icmp-echo-test1)# rtt min 20
