redundancy-mode

Configures the operational redundancy mode for an Ethernet Segment (ES) for a Layer 2 Virtual Private Network (L2VPN) using Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN).
Syntax
redundancy-mode { all-active | single-active }
no redundancy-mode { all-active | single-active }
Command Default

The operational redundancy mode is not configured for an ES.

Parameters
all-active
Specifies all-active redundancy mode so that all links within the ES are operational.
single-active
Specifies single-active redundancy mode so that only one link within the ES is operational.
Modes

Usage Guidelines

This command is supported for RUCKUS ICX 7850 and ICX 7550 devices only.

The no form of the command disables the configured operational redundancy mode for the ES.

Examples

The following example configures an ES to operate in all-active mode so that all links within the ES are operational.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)# ethernet-segment 1
device(config-evpn-es-1)# redundancy-mode all-active

The following example disables all-active mode for an ES if it has been enabled.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)# ethernet-segment 1
device(config-evpn-es-1)# no redundancy-mode all-active

The following example configures an ES to operate in single-active mode so that only one link within the ES is operational.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)# ethernet-segment 1
device(config-evpn-es-1)# redundancy-mode single-active

The following example disables single-active mode for an ES if it has been enabled.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# l2vpn evpn
device(config-evpn)# ethernet-segment 1
device(config-evpn-es-1)# no redundancy-mode single-active
