Using Stack Zero-touch Provisioning to Create a Two-unit ICX 7850 Stack with a Ring Topology

Before using stack zero-touch provisioning, check all connections to make sure they are correct.
Complete the following steps to create a two-unit ICX 7850 ring using stack zero-touch provisioning.
  1. (Optional) Enter the show running-config command to check unit configuration on the proposed active controller unit.

  2. In global configuration mode on the unit that will serve as the active controller, enter the stack enable command to enable stacking. 
    ICX7850-32Q Router# configure terminal
ICX7850-32Q Router(config)# stack enable
Enable stacking. This unit actively participates in stacking
  3. Enter the stack zero-touch-enable command. 
    ICX7850-32Q Router(config)# stack zero-touch-enable
  4. (Optional) Enter the show stack zero-touch status command to check the available configuration options. 
    ICX7850-32Q Router# show stack zero-touch status
I cannot be discovered by stack zero-touch or interactive-setup option 2. reason: has stack enable configuration
I can be discovered by stack interactive-setup option 3.
Has no unit-replacement timer. trig=2, reason=has stack zero-touch-enable
zero-touch-enable and stack enable are configured. Have done 0 probes
ZTP has converted 0 new units to members.
zero-touch-enable period: 3 minutes. Will trigger in 0 min 16 sec

    The stack zero-touch provisioning process sends probes to ports 1/3/1 through 1/3/8 and discovers the ring topology.
