Tested SSHv2 Clients

The following SSH clients have been tested with SSHv2:

  • SSH Secure Shell 3.2.3
  • VanDyke SecureCRT 5.2.2
  • F-Secure SSH Client 5.3 and 6.0
  • PuTTY 0.62
Note: When you use PuTTY on a Windows system, an SSH session may drop if left idle for more than 45 minutes.
  • openssh 9.3
  • RUCKUS ICX SSH Client
Note: Supported RSA host key sizes are 2048, 3072, and 4096. Supported ECDSA host key sizes are 256, 384, and 521.
