PKI Syslog Notification of Certificates Nearing Expiration

Syslog messages are displayed when installed certificates that cannot be renewed in an automated manner are nearing expiration. The first syslog message is generated 60 days before the certificate expires and then weekly until the expiration date is reached. The following is an example of the initial syslog notification.

SYSLOG: <13> Jun 17 18:00:00 2unit PKI: Trustpoint test12, 
3mon.pem cert will expire in 60 day(s) Cert ID - Serial No : 4168, 
Issuer CN : ROOT RSA, Subject CN : ICX RSA
