ICX Switch Management

  4. Approving a New Switch to Join Unleashed
    Once an ICX switch has been discovered, it is listed in the web interface as "pending" until the administrator approves the join request by entering the switch admin user name and password (if auto-approval is disabled).
  5. Monitoring Connected ICX Switches
    The Switch List page of the Unleashed web interface displays information about switches managed by the Unleashed management. Select a connected switch to view the overview, port details, and AV profile details on the selected switch.

    An Audio-Visual (AV) profile manages and optimizes audio and video signals over an IP network, such as a local area network (LAN) or the internet, to provide scalable, flexible, and reliable audio-visual delivery systems.

    RUCKUS Unleashed ICX switch management provides tools for performing a backup of the current ICX switch list and restore to a previously saved configuration backup file. Use the Backup Switch List and Restore Switch List options when you want to reset a switch to factory default settings to join a new RUCKUS Unleashed system.
  12. Exporting the Switches List to a CSV File
    You can export the list of ICX switches to a CSV file. Only details of switches in the Connected state are exported. The export option is disabled when no connected switches are present and is not available to users assigned the Operator or Monitoring User roles.

  14. Resetting Link Warning for ICX Switch Ports
    When Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) errors occur on ICX switch ports, warning messages such as 'Connected with Warning' are displayed, which may cause confusion about the actual port status. You can clear the persistent link status warning condition on the port using the Reset Link Warning option. However, if new CRC errors occur, the warning will reappear.
