Precautions Specific to Mounting
The following precautions specifically apply to mounting the device.
Danger: Use safe lifting practices when moving the product.
Danger: Make sure the rack housing the device is adequately secured to prevent it from becoming
unstable or falling over.
Danger: Mount the devices you install in a rack as low as possible. Place the heaviest device
at the bottom and progressively place lighter devices above.
Danger: This equipment is suitable for mounting on concrete or other noncombustible surfaces
only.
Caution: Make sure the airflow around
the front and back of the device is not restricted.
Caution: Never leave tools inside the chassis.
Caution: Use the screws specified in the procedure. Using longer screws can damage the device.
Caution: The
device must be turned off and disconnected from the network during this procedure.
