DHCPv6 Overview
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
for IPv6 (DHCPv6) enables DHCP servers to pass configuration parameters such as IPv6
network
addresses to IPv6 nodes.
The DHCPv6 protocol offers the capability of automatic allocation of reusable network addresses and additional configuration flexibility.
You can configure DHCPv6 snooping, the DHCPv6 relay agent, DHCPv6 relay include options, the DHCPv6 Relay Agent Prefix Delegation Notification, and DHCPv6 servers.
