Plug in the External USB to begin using
the External USB Hotplug commands.
You can use the commands in the following table as part of the External USB Hotplug
functionality.

Verifies that the external USB is mounted and ready to use,
and displays the files in the external USB drive. |

Formats the external USB.

mount disk0 |
Mounts the file system in the external USB drive.
|
unmount disk0 |
Unmounts the file system of the external USB drive. This command is required to safely
plug out the USB, so that files are not lost or corrupted.

Copies the image binary stored in the primary or secondary partition of the flash
to a destination file in the external USB.

Copies any file from a source file in the system flash to an external USB destination
file.

Copies the configuration file present on the external USB drive to the system's running
configuration.

Copies the configuration file present on the external USB drive to the system's startup
configuration file.
