Flash Timeout
The operations that require access to the flash device are expected to be completed
within the default flash timeout value of 12 minutes.
If the operations exceed the timeout value of
120 minutes, the flash device is locked and further flash operations cannot be processed.
To
facilitate prolonged flash operations without the device being locked, you can manually
configure the flash timeout for a longer duration using the flash-timeout command. You can
configure the flash timeout to a value from 12 through 120 minutes. The new timeout
value is
applicable for all flash operations and will be effective from the next flash operation.
