Viewing Events

  1. From the controller GUI main menu, select Monitor > Events & Alarms > Events > Events.
    This displays Events page. The Events page displays the following information:
    • Date and Time: Displays the date and time when the event occurred.
    • Code: Displays the event code. For more information on your controller platform, refer to the Alarms and Events Reference Guide.
    • Type: Displays the type of event that occurred (for example, AP configuration updated).
    • Severity: Displays the severity level assigned to the events, such as Critical, Debug, Informational, Warning, Major, and so on.
    • Activity: Displays additional details about the event, including (if available) the specific access point, control plane, or data plane that triggered the event.

    Click at the top-right of the table to open the table settings and customize the columns displayed and search criteria (OR, AND).

      Note:
    • You can also click next to the Filter button to configure display filters based on time, category, and severity.
    • Click Filter Off to switch on the filter, subsequently, click Filter On, to switch off the filter.
