Enabling sFlow Forwarding on a Port in a LAG

Complete the following steps to enable sFlow forwarding on an individual port within a LAG.
  1. Enter the global configuration mode.
    device# configure terminal
  2. Create a LAG.
device(config)# lag blue static id 1
  3. Add ports to the LAG.
    device(config-lag-blue)# ports ethernet 1/1/1 ethernet 1/1/3

  4. Enable sFlow forwarding on an individual port within a LAG.
    device(config-lag-blue)# sflow forwarding ethernet 1/1/1

The following example enables sFlow forwarding on an individual port within a LAG.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# lag blue static id 1
device(config-lag-blue)# ports ethernet 1/1/1 ethernet 1/1/3
device(config-lag-blue)# sflow forwarding ethernet 1/1/1

For a keep-alive LAG, sFlow can be enabled only at the interface level and not at LAG configuration. To configure sFlow for an interface belonging to the keep-alive LAG, configure directly under the interface.

device(config-lag-test)# interface ethernet 1/7/8
device(config-if-e1000-1/7/8)# sflow forwarding
device(config-if-e1000-1/7/8)#
