Usage Guidelines

The no form of the command removes the configured TTL minimum and maximum values from the profile.

Examples

The following example configures a range for minimum and maximum TTL values in milliseconds for an IPPM profile named "test1".

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
device(config-icmp-echo-test1)# ttl_threshold range 30 to 40

The following example configures the minimum TTL value to 20 milliseconds for an IPPM profile named "test1". The maximum TTL value defaults to 255.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
device(config-icmp-echo-test1)# ttl_threshold min 20

The following example configures the maximum TTL value to 35 milliseconds for an IPPM profile named "test1". The minimum TTL value defaults to 1.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ippm profile test1 type icmp-echo
device(config-icmp-echo-test1)# ttl_threshold max 35
