Adding Locations

To map the site and building, you require a location. Complete the following steps to create a location on the RUCKUS IoT Insights database.
  1. From the main menu, go to Configuration > Admin > System > Add Location.

  2. Location Name: In the Location Name field, enter the location name of the site.
  3. Max Occupancy: In the Max Occupancy field, enter the maximum number of people allowed in the location.
  4. Location Floor: In the Location Floor field, enter the floor number.
  5. Realm: In the Realm field, enter the name of the realm if it is not already displayed.
  6. Site Name: From the Site Name list, select the name of the site.
  7. Building: From the Building list, select the number of the building. After the site name and building have been selected, the name of the country is displayed in the Site Country field.
  8. Click Save to store the location details.

The Current Locations table lists the location details, including the realm, site name, country, building number, and floor number, and location name.

You can enter search criteria in the Search field to search the Current Location table for information.
