Viewing the License Database
To display general information about all software licenses for all units in a device,
use the
show license command. The
show license command displays only software license information for a unit, but not hardware license
information.
device# show license Unit License Name L3 Premium Port Speed Upgrade Speed Ports MACSec 1 L3-PREM-2X10G Yes Yes 10G 2 NA 2 L3-PREM-8x10G Yes Yes 10G 8 NA
Use the
show license installed command to display license information, including the CoE serial numbers (if entered).

Use the
show license unit
unit-id command to display license information for a specific unit. Both SAU and pre-existing
XML licenses are displayed. In the following output example, the ICX premium license,
and the PoD license are installed on unit 1.

the device before FastIron release 08.0.80.
