Verification of DHCPv6 Server Status

Various commands can be used for the purpose of verifying the DHCPv6 server status.
Use one or more of the following commands to verify DHCPv6 Server status. Using these commands is optional, and the variations of the command can be entered in any order.
  1. Enter the hmon client status command with the all-clients keyword to display details on the operational status of Health Monitor clients.
    device# hmon client status all-clients

Check the status of the DHCP client in the output. The status shows Up if the server is up and running. If the status is Faulty, this might indicate some missing configuration or a port being down. The status is displayed as Faulty when the server is still not Up after a series of retries. Fixing the configuration or port down issue will bring the server Up again.
  2. Enter the hmon client statistics command with the all-clients keyword to display client statistics.
    device# hmon client statistics all-clients

Check the status of the DHCP client in the output.
  3. Enter the show ip os-interface command with the port-info statistics keyword to display the tap interfaces that are created for the interfaces and the statistics on the tap interface.
    device# show ip os-interface port-info statistics

Check the status of the DHCP client in the output.
